Dr. Bimal Sharma started his journey 34 years ago ; at present, he is serving as the director and principal of the Veterinary Polytechnic College and Regional Research Centre, Kal Jharani. His love for animals and career expertise are well known. He joined the Department of Animal Husbandry, Punjab, as a veterinarian officer in 1985. In the year 1986, Dr. Bimal received an award from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and his M.V.Sc. was sponsored by PAU, Ludhiana, for his recognition and commendable work. In 2008, he cleared his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from New York.
