Dr. Arvind Kumar Ishar completed his Ph.D. from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu and cleared NET in 2005. He joined SKUAST-J at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rajouri in 2007 as Senior Scientist ( Entomology) and is working there till date. Moreover, he has also joined SKUAST-J as Sr. Scientist & Head since 2016. He has organized 128 Farmers trainings, 35 extension functionaries and 16 vocational trainings. Dr Arvind Kumar has also organized 7 Kisan Mela’s and 62 awareness programmes. He has published 16 full length papers, 74 abstracts, 5 book chapters and 7 success stories. With more than 15 years of experience, he has helped a lot of farmers through field days and mobile advisories.
