Varieties and sowing tips for chickpea

Chickpea: Gram varieties like- Pusa 256, k 850, avrodhi, Pant G-114, Pant G-186, Pant Kabuli chana 1 should be sown at 45 cm distance in lines at 6-8 cm depth in irrigated condition. Seed treatment should be done with a mixture of 1 g carbendazim and 2 g thyrum. After that seed should also be treated with ryzobium culture and phosphorous soluble culture.
