Control of leaf mosaic virus in papaya plant

Papaya: On the occurrence of leaf mosaic virus in papaya plants, remove yellow and crimpled leaves from plants and destroy it or burn them in the soil. Spray Actara 50 WDG @ 2g/ 5 liter of water. After physiological maturity, preripen fruits are supposed to be harvested and wrapped in paper for further ripening. If left on the plant for ripening there are chances of microbial infection and fruitfly damage.
