Advisory for different varieties of pulses

Pulses Crops: Pulse crops like Urad, Green Gram, and Cowpea should be sown in the plain area of Tarai-bhawar which is free from water logging till the first week of August by keeping in view the weather forecast. Urd varieties like Pant urd-31. Pant urd-40, Pant urd-35, Uttara should be sown in lines at 30 cm distance & at 3-4 cm depth. The seed rate should be kept 12-15 kg/ha. Seed should be treated with fungicide and rhizobium culture before sowing.
