Experts' advice for sowing of cumin crop

Those farmer who have irrigation facility and plan to grow cumin in coming winter season are advised to collect residue of mustard can be incorporated @ 2.5 t ha-1 in the field to be planted with cumin. At the time of high temperature in May, field should be irrigated in order to decompose residues. This will facilitate release of biotoxic volatiles killing cumin wilt pathogen.
