Rescheduling for wheat procurement

This is to inform all the farmers that wheat procurement which was to start on 1st April, has now been postponded and it may be started from 15th April, 2020. In such circumstances,only option available before us is that wheat procuremnet during RMS 2020-21 may be done by staggering arrivals of Rabi crops in the Mandis. This atternative may work otherwise there will be a great risk of exposing people in the mandis to risk of catching infection through Mandi operations. The staggering of arrival of foodgrain of mandi is also a difficult task which we will be in a position to manage by incentivising farmers for bringing their produce in phased manner as per schedule proposed here under:
