IMD Advisory for Jodhpur, Rajsthan farmers

Keeping the view the threat COVID-19 spread, farmers are advised to wear mask and hand should be wash with soap at reasonable interval and maintain social distancing while working in the field.

Mustard- Sowing of early mustard should be done 15th October. Mustard varieties are: RGN-73, Bio-902, (Pusa Jaikisan), Aashirwad, RH-9304 (Vasundhara), RH-9802 (Swarn Jyoti), RH-8812 (Laxmi), DRMRIJ-31 (Giriraj). Before sowing seed should be treated with Mencozeb @ 2.5g or Carbandazim @ 1g/kg seed. For the protection against painted bug seed should treated with Imidachlorpid @ 5 g/kg seed before sowing.

Gram- Complete the sowing of gram up to 15th October. Gram varieties are: GNG-146, RSG-44, RSG-888, RSG-902, RSG-895, Pratap Raj Chana and Pratap Chana 1. Seed rate 80 kg/ha. Before sowing seed should be treated with Carbendazim 50 WP @ 1 g/kg seed.
