Experts' advice for the farmers

To protect the crop from the cold weather conditions, farmers are advised to irrigate the field. The sugarcane crop which is to be sown in the month of February and March, use farm yard manure 20-30 boxes in per acre of filed and plough the field 4-5 times before sowing of crop. the soil in which the crop is to be sown must be tested priory, and fertiliser application must be scheduled  on the basis of the soil test report. In irrigated ares, at the time of first irrigation of the barley crop give application of 25 kilograms of urea. Yellow lesions appears on the leaves of the wheat crop , due to yellow rust of wheat, as soon as the syptoms are observed on the crop, give applicationof Zineb or mancozeb @ 800 grams or propiconazole @ 200 ml in 200 liters of water per acre. if the disease still exists repeat the same after 10-15 days.
