Advisory related to Wheat, Sugarcane and Livestock for the upcoming days

In view of the severe spread of Corona (Covid-19), the farmers are advised to follow the guidelines given by the Government of India, personal hygiene, use of masks, washing hands at appropriate intervals during agricultural operations.

WHEAT- Keeping in view the rainfall forecast, farmers are advised to postpone the irrigation.

SUGARCANE- Preparation for sowing spring season sugarcane crop should be done.

BUFFALO- To save the animals from the cold, proper arrangement of the animal shed should be done. To save the animal from cold, dry grasses, paddy residue (Puwal), etc which are not used as fodder for animals should be used as a bedding material for animals in sheds. The door and window should be covered properly so that cold wind could not be entered into the animal shed.
