Advisory related to Wheat, Mustard, Gram, Garlic and Fenugreek for the upcoming days
Wheat- At present wheat crop reaches at late joining stage and it is critical stage for irrigation. So, it is advised to farmers please give irrigation to wheat crop.
Mustard- Mustard crop is reaches at flowering stage and it is very sensitive for aphid infestation. Farmers are advised to installed 12 to 15 yellow sticky strip per hectare or spray of diamethoate 30 EC 875 ml per hectare.
Gram- For the control of pod borer, installation of 5 to 6 Pheromone traps per acre with 50 metre apart. "T" shaped bird perches installed in and around crop field or spray of quinolphos 25 EC 1 litre in 500 water per hectare at the time of flowering should be done. Spray of mancozeb 2 gram per litre solution for the control of blight in gram crop.
Garlic- Due to root rot in garlic growth of plant is check and leaf yellow in colour occurs. The plant dried up from top to bottom. At the initiation of disease roots are dry and lower part of bulb is rotten ultimately whole plant will be died. For control of this disease it advised to farmers spray carbandezim 12% + mancozeb 63% wp @300 ml/acre or chlorothanlonil 75% wp @ or 400 gram/acre or thiophenet methyl 70% W/W 300 gram/acre.
Fenugreek- Fenugreek at pod develment stage and this stage is very sensitive to downy mildew disease, for controlling of downy mildew disease. Foliar spray of 2 gram per litre water is recommended.
