Advisory related to Wheat, Mustard & Gram for next days
Keeping in view of threat of corona (COVID-19) spread farmers are advised to follow the government guidelines, use mask, ensure social distancing (six feet), hand washing with soap at reasonable interval during all agricultural operation in crops and field. Due to light cloudy weather there is a possibility bility of increase aphid infestation in mustard. Farmers are advised to constant monitoring for aphid.
Wheat- For the control of grassy and broad leaves weeds in wheat spraying of sulfosulfuron + metasulfuron methyl 32 grams or clodinaphop + metasulfuron methyl 60 grams per ha. Make a solution in 500 to 700 liters of water and spray it with surfactant at 30-35 days after sowing. In wheat and barley crops, if spots appear onthe leaves, then it is a fungal disease, to control it, spraying Carbendazim solution in 2 gram per liter of water should be sprayed. If yellowing is seen in the leaves, the main reason for this is the lack of zinc nutrient in the soil, for this, 5 kg of zinc sulphate and 2.5 kg is calcium carbonate to be dissolved in water in a separate container for 24 hours, then filtering this solution, Spray in one hectare area by mixing in 500 liters of water.
Mustard- For the control of mustard aphid use of yellow sticky strip (12-15 nos./hectare) and spray of imidacloprid 20% SP @ 150 ml/ha should be done.
Gram- To control of pod borer in gram, spray of imamectin benzoate 5 % SG 220 gram/ha.
