Advisory related to Wheat, Barley and Mustard for next five days

In view of the severe spread of Corona (Covid-19), the farmers are advised to follow the guidelines given by the Government of India, personal hygiene, use of masks, washing hands at appropriate intervals with soap, during harvesting of fruit and vegetable crops, weeding, hoeing and other agricultural operations. There is a forecast of no rain in the coming five days. Farmers are advised to proper arrangements should be done to harvest the mature vegetables.

WHEAT- In unirrigated wheat, top dressing of urea @ 1.2 kg/naali and irrigated condition, top dressing of urea @ 2.0-2.5 kg/naali after irrigation should be done.

BARLEY- In unirrigated condition, top dressing of urea at the rate of 1.2 kg/naali should be done.

MUSTARD- On the occurrence of stem rot disease, spray immediately carbendazim or propiconazole 100g in 100lit of water at 10 days interval. Avoid irrigation and uproot the infected plants.
