Advisory related to Wheat, Barley and Livestock for next five days

In view of the severe spread of Corona (Covid-19), the farmers are advised to follow the guidelines given by the Government of India during agricultural operations. Harvesting of mature vegetable crops should be done.

WHEAT- In Bhabar region, late sowing of wheat should be completed by 25 December.

BARLEY- Weeding and hoeing should be done in barley crop. In irrigated crop, 20-25 days after sowing recommended dose of nitrogen should be used as a top dressing.

Livestock- In cold, increase the amount of oil and jaggery in the diet of animals. In extreme cold conditions give celery and jaggery to the animals.
