Advisory related to Wheat and Barley crops for next five days

In view of the severe spread of Corona (Covid-19), the farmers are advised to follow the guidelines given by the Government of India during agricultural operations. Keeping in view the forecast of rainfall on 11 & 12 December, postpone the irrigation in the crops.

WHEAT- In Bhabar region, sowing of late sown variety of wheat like UP 2425, UP2328, PBW 373, UP 2526, UP 2565 should be done till 25 December. Irrigation should be postponed due to the possibility of rain.

BARLEY- Weeding and hoeing should be done in barley crop. Keeping in view the rainfall forecast on 12 December, Irrigation should be postpond.
