VEGETABLES- Transplant the nurseries of chilli and capsicum raised under protection on the ridges at the recommended spacings.

• Transplant nursery of brinjal varieties hybrid BH-2, PBH-3 and PBH-4, PBH-5, PBH41, PBH-42 and Punjab Raunak during the period.
• During the period sowing of Punjab Suhawani variety of okra and Cowpea 263 can be done.
• Sowing of cucurbits like muskmelon, cucumber, bottle gourd, pumpkin, sponge gourd, squashes etc. can be done in field.

FRUITS- It’s ideal time for planting of deciduous fruit plants such as pear, grapes, fig and phalsa.

• Prune out the dead, diseased, criss-crossed and unwanted branches from the bearing citrus before the emergence of new sprouts. Also complete the pruning of pear and grapes as early as possible. Spray Bordeaux mixture immediately.
