VEGETABLES- Protect the nursery as well as vegetable crops like tomato, brinjal and chilli from chilling wind and cold weather.

• It is the best time to transplant seedlings of onion in field.
• Sowing of cucumber can be done under low tunnel technology to get early yield.
• Viral diseases of potato may appear in the seed crop. To produce virus free seed, uproot and destroy the virus infected plants along with potato tubers.
• To protect potato crop from late blight, spray Indofil M-45/Mass M-45/Markzeb/Antracol/ Kavach @ 500- 700 g or Copper Oxychloride 50 WP/Mark copper @ 750- 1000 g/acre in 250- 350 litres of water at 7 days interval.
• Cut the potato haulms during the period.

FRUITS- Keep the cold sensitive young fruit plants protected from frost or low temperature.

• Its right time for application of organic manure in all major fruit crops except guava and ber.
• It’s appropriate time for planting of deciduous fruit plants such as pear, peach, plum, grapes etc.
