Advisory related to Peas and Mustard for the upcoming days

Peas- Crop is mainly in pod development and maturity stage. As mostly sunny weather forecasted, partial harvesting of pods for vegetable purpose may be done. Need based irrigation is advised. In current stage and weather condition, pod borer infestation may be found. Regularly monitor the crop.

MUSTARD- Crop is mainly in active flowering stage/pod development stage. Current weather is very much favorable for aphid growth, so regularly monitor the crop and set up yellow stick trap to monitor aphid population. Destroy the affected parts along with aphid population in the initial stage.
