Advisory related to Peach and Potato for the upcoming days

PEACH- The fruit plant is now in bud formation stage. As weather may mostly remain sunny, spray multivitamin (multiplex) as per recommended dose of 2ml/lit of water for proper growth of the fruit-plant. Keep the orchard weed free and clean.

POTATO- Crop is mainly in vegetative stage and tuber development stage. Need based irrigation is advised in current weather condition. Manual weeding may be done. Current weather and stage is very much susceptible for aphid attack. Regularly monitor the field. Remove the infected plants immediately and destroy by burning it properly. Dust ash into the foliar part to control aphids. In case of heavy infestation, spray Methyl demeton 25 EC or Dimethoate 30 EC 2 ml/lit.
