Advisory related to Mustard, Horse Gram and Livestock for the upcoming days

MUSTARD- Due to the cloudy weather there is possibilities of increase aphid infestation in mustard. Farmers are advised to constant monitoring for aphid. If population is above ETL, use 12-15 yellow sticky strip/ha. due to the possibility of light rainfall it is advised to farmers postpone chemical spray in field.

HORSE GRAM- Gram is at flowering stage, for monitoring of the pod borer in the gram crop, installation of 5-6 Pheromone traps per acre with distance of 50 m. 4-5 per acre “T” shaped bird perches in and around crop field to be installed.

GOAT- Looking to the sudden dip in minimum temperature take suitable protection measures to protect live stock from clod wave.
