RICE- Farmers are advised to provide hand weeding in paddy crop. If labourers are not available then apply weedicides as post emergence (25-30 DAT) like Bispyribac sodium @ 200-250 ml per hectare or Ethoxysulfuron 100 gm dissolve in 500-600 litres of water per hectare sufficient for control of broad leaves and motha is recommended.
It is suggested to paddy growers apply second dose of nitrogen at the rate of 64 kg per hectare at maximum tillering stage of the crop, if zinc deficiency are observed at paddy field then apply zinc sulphate @ 25 kg /ha for control of khaira disease.
Farmers are advised to monitor their fields regularly, If leaf folder or stem borer is observed in paddy field, then broadcasting of Cartap hydrocloride 4% granules @ 25 kg/ha when sky is clear, for effective control is recommended.
MAIZE- Farmers are advised to do earthing up after eradication of weeds flora by application of topramizon @ 40 g ai/ha or Atrazine @ 1.5 kg ai/ha. Apply 80 kg urea per hectare in kharif maize field for better growth and yield. If cut worm attack take place in the field then apply insecticides chlorpyriphos @ 2ml per litre of water or furadon 4-5 granules in per whorl of the maize plant.
VEGETABLE CHILLI- Transplanting of brinjal, tomato, chilli, cauliflower and cabbage are advised on raised bed for those farmers whose seedlings are ready. Farmers are advised to apply 10-15 tonnes of cow dung and also apply 60 kg Nitrogen, 50 kg Phosphorus and 40 kg potassium per hectare before final preparation of field. Weeding is advised in vegetables crop.
