Advisory for livestock and poultry farming

PIG- Iron deficiency is common in the piglets kept inside the shed during current season and weather condition, which may cause anemia and weakness. Ensure proper iron supplement as per advice of vet.

COW- Avoid water stagnation around the shed to prevent mosquito breeding.Disinfecting the sheds with lime powder/ bleaching powder/ 4%NaOH at regular interval is advised. Always provide fresh feeds on clean surface.

CHICKEN- During current weather condition, especially in the hilly areas, provide proper warmth to newly procured chicks by installing electric bulbs in the shed. Ensure regular supply of clean drinking water.
