Onion cutworm pest and treatment-

• The larva of this insect is yellowish gray in color and later turns brown.
• To control this, at the time of transplanting, add carbofuran to the soil at the rate of 3% GR @ 7.5 kg per acre.
• Mix cartop hydrochloride at the rate of 4% G @ 7.5 kg per acre.
• Spray Chloropyriphos @ 20% EC @ 1 liter per acre.
• As a biological control, use Bavaria basiana @ 500g / acre with every spraying.
