Advisory for farmers growing Wheat and Apple

Apple- To control the Canker disease, spray 600 g Copper Oxychloride in

• 200 L of water in apple orchards.
• Farmers are advised to apply Bordeaux paste on the cut ends of broken or pruned branches to avoid fungal infection.

Wheat- Tillering stage  Do Weeding in the field (Weather should be clear).

• Farmers are advised to monitor infestation of gulli danda in wheat crop.
• In case of infestation, then spray 160g Topik 15 WP (clodinafop) / 400 ml Axial 5 EC (pinoxaden) in 150 L of water after first irrigation to 30-35 days after sowing.
• Monitor the wheat crop against the occurrence of yellow rust.
