Advisory for farmers cultivating Wheat, Sugarcane, Barley and Lentil

WHEAT- Late sowing of wheat must be completed by 25 December otherwise yield decreases significantly.

• Weeding and hoeing should be done in the crop sown in unirrigated condition.

SUGARCANE- Irrigate the winter season sugarcane crop as per requirement and weeding, hoeing should also be done.

BARLEY- Late sowing of Barley should be completed by mid of this month.

LENTIL- Late sowing of lentil varieties like Pant L. 406 should be completed by mid of this month.
