Advisory for farmers cultivating Wheat, Mustard, Lentil and Garlic

MUSTARD- On the occurrence of aphid in the mustard crop, the solution of 50-100g of Thiamethoxam 25 WG in 600-700 lit of water per hectare should be sprayed.

WHEAT- To control the weed in the wheat, first and second weeding and hoeing should be done after 25-30 days and 45-50 days of sowing respectively.

LENTIL- Agronomic practices like weeding & hoeing should be done and give irrigation by keeping in view the weather forecast.

• In Pulse crop, if labour are available then weeding should be done at the interval of 20-25 days and 35-40 days after sowing.

GARLIC- Agronomic operation like Weeding and hoeing and top dressing of urea should also be given in the garlic crop.
