Advisory for farmers cultivating Wheat and Mustard

Wheat- In late sown wheat, spray of mesosulfuron methyl 3 % @ 12 g/ha + iodosulfuron-methyl 0.6 % WG @24 g/ha at 25-30 DAS. Or clodinafop 15 % @ 60 g/ha + metsulfuron-methyl 1.0 % WG @ 4 g/ha at 30-40 DAS to control broad & Narrow leave weeds.

• In standing crop, apply chlorpyrifos 20 EC @ 4 litre/ ha with irrigation if termite problem appears.

Mustard- Spray of dimethoate 30 EC 1 litre/ha for the control of aphid in mustard.

• The present weather condition is favorable for incidence of powdery mildew in mustard.
• Spray of carbendazim 12% + mancozeb 62 % @ 2g /litre of water to control powdery mildew in mustard.
