Advisory for farmers cultivating Sesame, Oil Seed and Wheat crops

SESAME- Harvest the mature crop and separate the seeds.

OIL SEED- In oil seed crop, maintain the plant to plant distance at 10-15 cm after 15 days of germination. There is a forecast of no rain in the coming days so, irrigate the crop 20-25 days after sowing and top dressing of Urea should be done after 4-5 days of irrigation application.

WHEAT- In unirrigated condition, timely sowing of wheat varieties like- PBW 644, PBW 396, PBW 299, C 306 and WH 1080 should be done in the second fortnight by keeping in view the weather forecast.
