Advisory for farmers cultivating Oilseeds and Sugarcane crops

OILSEEDS- As dry weather is expected during coming days, farmers are advised to give need based irrigation to oilseed crops.

• Avoid irrigation to sarson/raya during the period to manage Sclerotinia stem rot.

SUGARCANE- Apply light irrigations to the sugarcane crop regularly during winter months.

• The ratoon crop should also be irrigated properly.
