Advisory for farmers cultivating Mustard, Peas and Wheat

MUSTARD- Light irrigation should be given in the crop at the time of gain filling in timely sown crop and before flowering in late sown crop.

WHEAT- Do first irrigation of 5-6 cm on 20-25 days of sowing of wheat and second irrigation on 40 to 45 days at the time of bud. In leveled field, top dressing of nitrogen should be done before irrigation or 4-6 days after irrigation.

PEAS- In case of aphid infestation in pea crop, spray Thiamethoxam 25 WG (Actara) @ 100 g/ha.
