MAIZE- Keeping in view the rainfall forecast, farmers are advised to postpone the irrigation.
SOYABEAN- In soybean, do weeding twice at an interval of 20-25 days from sowing. After 30-35 days of sowing, uproot one or two plants. If the glands are not formed in the roots then do top dressing with urea at the rate of 30 kg nitrogen/ha.
RICE- In case of yellow stem borer infestation in paddy, apply Chlorantraniliprole 0.4 G @ 10 kg/ha or Fipronil 0.3 GR @ 25 kg/ha by keeping 2 inches of water in the field within 50 days of transplanting.
