Advisory for farmers cultivating Garlic, Gram and Potato

GARLIC- If thrips are presents in the garlic crop, spray fipronil 5 SC @ 2ml/lit.

GRAM- There is no possibility of rain in the coming days, so the farmer brothers should do light irrigation in the crop if there is a shortage of moisture in the field.

• Late sowing of chickpea varieties like Uday and Pant G 186 should be completed by mid of this month.

POTATO- Farmers are advised to start earthing-up in potato if crop has attained a height of 15-22 cm. If required, the practice may be repeated after 15 days.
