Advisory for farmers cultivating Garlic and Cauliflower

Garlic- Due to root rot in garlic growth of plant is check and leaf yellow in colour occurs.

• The plant dried up from top to bottom.
• At the initiation of disease roots are dry and lower part of bulb is rotten ultimately whole plant will be died.
• For control of this disease it advised to farmers spray carbendazim 12% + mencozeb 63% wp @ 300 ml/ acre or chlorothalonil 75% wp@ or 400 gram/ acre or thiophanate methyl 70% W/W 300 gram/ acre.

Cauliflower- To control leaf spot in Cauliflower spray of mancozeb 2 g/litre or carbendazim 1 g/litre should be done.
