Advisory for farmers cultivating Chick Pea, Onion, Vegetable Pea and Cauliflower crops

CHICK PEA- Sowing of chickpea varieties like Pant Kabuli Chana 1, 2 should be done in irrigated condition.

ONION- Farmers are advised to sow the onion in plains and tarai region.

VEGETABLE PEA- Sow the seeds of pea in areas where sowing is not done.

• In the Terai area, sowing of seed must be completed by the second week, for which 80-90 kg of seed/hectare is required.

CAULIFLOWER- Irrigation should be given in the early and mid-variety of cauliflower.
