Advice related to the cultivation of wheat, paddy and sugarcane
WHEAT- Necessary irrigation should be given in the wheat crop as needed.
Remove weeds like Gulli Danda and jalgi jai (wild oats) and destroy them.
On the occurrence of aphid in wheat, spray the solution of Thiamethoxam 25 WG @ 100 ml/ha or Imidacloprid 17.8 SL @ 140 ml/ha in 500-600 liters of water.
Do second spray at an interval of 15 days.
Spray should be done in the morning or evening hours when there is no rain or strong wind.
MUSTARD- Harvest the mature crop of black mustard (rai) and store the grain after drying.
SUGARCANE- Irrigate the crop sown in the month of February and remove weeds by hoeing after 3-4 days.
One line of urd, moong or cowpea can be sown as intercrops between two rows of sugarcane.
Irrigate the winter crop of sugarcane as per requirement and do top dressing of urea as per recommendation.
