Things to keep in mind while preparing vegetable seedlings

Vegetables: While preparing the seedlings of vegetables like tomato, brinjal, red chili and capsicum, keep in mind that the Kamartod disease does not destroy the plant. To protect the plant from this disease, treat the beds with formalin (1 liter formalin per 8 liters of water) 15-20 days before sowing. Due to this disease, the plant shrinks as soon as it grows from seed. Dissolve 25 gm Mancozeb (Indophil M-45) and 5 gm Carbendazim (Bavistin)in 10 liters of water in the beds as soon as you see the symptoms of the disease.
