Precautionary measures at a poultry farm

Poultry: To protect chickens from diseases, take full care of cleanliness in the chicken houses and consult a doctor from time to time. Give the chickens a balanced diet and give them clean water to drink. To avoid diseases, change their bedding and clean their litter every second or third day. Feed calcium supplements and keep a check on the temperature. The recommended temperature should be humid in poultry farms. Feed the broilers at regular intervals. Maintain proper lighting for 14–16 hours. Vaccinate the birds in time to protect them from Ranikhet and other deadly diseases.
