How to protect Tomato from Late blight disease
Due to an increase in relative humidity above 90 percent, the condition is ideal for late blight disease development; farmers are advised to monitor the disease.
To control the disease keep the plants upright with support and do not let the leaves remain in the lower part of 20 cm of the plant which will improve the air movement.
Collect the damaged fruits and leaves and bury them in the soil to avoid an attack on the crop.
Timely harvest the matured fruit in order to avoid spoilage.
