Fruit setting stage in Mango

    • Spread straw mulch of around 10 cm of thickness in the plant basin to conserve soil moisture. 

    • The fruit trees should be monitored continuously to prevent the attack of mealy bugs and mango hoppers. 

    • The insects usually suck the sap from the inflorescence and leaves. 

    • Apply sticky grease band on mango plants to control the upward movement of mango mealy bugs.
