Fall armyworm pest monitoring in maize crop

Sowing of Maize: Make proper drainage in the maize fields. Weeding should be done in all Kharif crops. Fall armyworm is a serious pest of maize nowadays. To control this pest, install 4 pheromone traps per acre. Destroy the eggs and larvae by crushing them. If infestation is more than 10%, spray Neem seed kernel extract 5 ml/liter or Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC @ 0.4 ml/liter.
