Advisory for farmers cultivating Rice, Green Gram and Maize crops

RICE- At the initial stage of earhead formation in the crop, top dressing of the recommended amount of nitrogen and proper arrangements for irrigation and drainage as per the weather forecast should be done.

GREEN GRAM- In the crop sown last month, weeding should be done in due time and according to the weather forecast, light irrigation should be done as per the requirement.

MAIZE- Irrigation is required at the stage of grain filling in maize and there is a possibility of rain in the coming days, which is favorable for this stage of the crop. So, irrigation should be postpone based on the weather forecast.
