1. Animals should be kept in covered sheds / areas to avoid the effects of sudden changes in temperature.
2.If vaccination of animals has not been done for FMD (Foot and mouth), Galghotu (Hemorrhagic Septicemia) and other intestinal diseases then it should be done in this month.
3.Animals should be given proper quantity of feed with salt / mineral mixture.
4.After milking the animals to protect them from mastitis, their teats should be cleaned with a disinfectant.
5.The amount of green fodder should be kept limited in animal feed because it increases the chances of developing diarrhea and acidity like diseases in animals.
6.If green fodder is available in excess after feeding the animals, then dry it in the sun and store it for deficiency.
7.Clover can be harvested after 50-55 days of sowing and Oats (Jvi) can be harvested after 55-60 days. And then clover can be harvested after every 25-30 days.
8.During this month fodder leaves should be collected. These leaves should be dried in the shed and the animals should be fed at the time of shortage of fodder.
