Keep these things in mind while sowing Maize and preparing Paddy nursery

Maize- Proper moisture available in soil, farmers are advice to sowing of maize crop.

• Before sowing seed treatment should be done with fungicide after that bio fertilizer PSB & Azotobacter.
• Seed rate 20 kg/ha. It is also advised to maintain row to row spacing of 60 cm. and plant to plant 25 cm.
• Improved varieties of Maize- Pratap QPM-1, HQPM-1, HQPM-5, PEHM-2, Pratap hybrid maize-1, Pratap Makka-9, Pratap hybrid Makka-3, Bio-9682, DHM-121 etc.

Paddy- Start the sowing of paddy in nursery.

• Improved varieties of Paddy- Pusa Sugandha-4, Pusa Sugandha-5, Pusa -1121, Pratap Sugandha-1, Pusa Basmati-1, Pusa Basmati-1509 etc.
