COTTON- Eradicate the weeds growing on cotton field bunds, waste lands, road side and irrigation channels/canals to avoid further spread of whitefly to cotton field. Regular surveillance of whitefly on cotton should also be done.

• Uproot and destroy leaf curl virus infected plant from time to time. After rain, fungal foliar leaf spots appears in field, protect the crop by spraying 200 ml Amistar Top using 200 litres of water per acre.

SUGARCANE- Check black bug especially on ratoon crop by spraying 350 ml Dursban/Lethal/Massban/Goldban 20EC (chlorpyriphos) in 400 litres of water per acre. Direct the spray into the leaf whorl.
