Expert advice on vegetables such as Tomato, Brinjal and Chilli

Tomato- Collect the damaged fruits and leaves and buried them into the soil to avoid the spread of disease. Pruning of lower leaves upto 15-20 cm height. Proper drainage, staking and weeding. Install pheromone trap @ 25 per hac if pest population is high. Keeping in view the weather conditions, spraying of recommended chemicals is advised. (Weather should be clear and dry).

Brinjal- Install pheromone trap @ 25 per hac if pest population is high.

Chilli- Constant monitoring of the chilli crop against attack of mites is advised.
