Expert advice on vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, brinjals and garlic

VEGETABLES- Harvest the onion and garlic bulbs. Cure under shade and store them in a dry place.

• Fruit and shoot borer of brinjal should be controlled by spraying 100 ml Sumicidin 20 EC or 200 ml Ripcord 10 EC or 160 ml Decis 2.8 EC in 100-125 litres of water per acre. Spray the crop after weather clears up.
• In cucurbits, virus infected plants should be uprooted and buried.
• To control early blight in tomato, spray the crop with 600 g Indofil M-45 per acre at an interval of 7 days.
