Consultation for farmers cultivating Green Gram, Fodder Maize and Wheat

GREEN GRAM- Sow the green gram (moong). Sowing of moong in the Terai region should be done by the end of March.

FODDER MAIZE- Fodder crops like chari, Maize, bajara, makchari, lobia and jawar etc can also be sown in this month.

WHEAT- Necessary irrigation should be given in the wheat crop as needed.

• Remove weeds like Gulli Danda and jalgi jai (wild oats) and destroy them.
• On the occurrence of aphid in wheat, spray the solution of Thiamethoxam 25 WG @ 100 ml/ha or Imidacloprid 17.8 SL @ 140 ml/ha in 500-600 liters of water.
• Do second spray at an interval of 15 days.
• Spray should be done in the morning or evening hours when there is no rain or strong wind.
