All the farmers are advised to keep regular checks at plants in the orchards
FRUITS- To protect the fruit plants from intense heat, apply frequent irrigations to the bearing as well as young fruit plants.
Regularly remove the suckers arising from the rootstock portion of the newly planted fruit plants and these plants should be supported with sticks to keep them erect during rainy season.
Apply white wash mixture containing copper sulphate on the main trunks of fruit trees to protect them from diseases.
Sowing of intercrops of moong, mash, sesame, guari can be done in non-bearing/juvenile orchards. Keep suitable distance between main and intercrop. The irrigation system should also be separate for both crops.
