All the farmers are advised to keep regular checks at plants in the orchards

FRUITS- Apply frequent irrigations to the fruit plants bearing fruits such as litchi and pear.

• Regularly remove the suckers arising from the rootstock portion of the newly planted fruit plants. Such plants can be supported with sticks to keep them erect.
• Apply white wash mixture on the main trucks of fruit trees to protect them from intense solar radiations.
• Spray 2,4-D sodium salt of horticultural grade @ 10 g in 500 liters of water to manage fruit drop in mango.
• It’s ideal time for pruning of ber trees followed application of well rotten FYM and sowing of groundnut variety TG 37A as an inter-crop in pruned ber orchards.
