Advisory related to Tomato and Potato farming

TOMATO- In view of the possibility of rains in the coming days, spraying of chemicals for pest control in tomato crop should be done when the weather is clear. Keeping in vie the warning of hail at isolated places, anti-hail net (nylone net) should be used to save the standing seed crops from hail.

POTATO- Earthing up in potato crops should b e done after 30-35 days of sowing.
